This is a quick cheat sheet for myself, for commonly used settings on the Spektrum DX5e TX radio.

 

 

 

 

Note: if your DX5e has the "X" on it, it has the DSMX mode. 

 

 

Binding:

(Throttle Low) for failsafe condition 

Trainer momentary switch ON + Turning ON radio 

 

Force DSM2 Mode:

Trainer momentary switch ON + Elevator Trim UP + Turning ON radio 

 

Force back DSMX Mode (this is default unless changed):

Trainer momentary switch ON + Elevator Trim DOWN + Turning ON radio
